Step by step: how to safely and effectively use Bedrock plasters
HOW TO PROPERLY USE MOUTH TAPE FOR SLEEPING
Prepare for a calmer, deeper, and quieter sleep

1. Prepare your lips
Clean and dry your lips thoroughly for proper adhesion of the patch.

2. Carefully peel off
Start in the middle — at the foil's incision point — and slowly peel it off from both sides.

3. Stick on your lips
Center the patch so that the hole is in the middle of your mouth. Press and breathe calmly all night.

4. Remove in the morning
Upon waking, gently grasp the patch from one side and remove it. Breathe freely and start your day with energy.

How to start sleeping with Bedrock patches
- Start gently: If you're new to this, try wearing the patch for about 15 minutes during the day first – just to get used to the sensation of taped lips.
- Prepare your lips: Apply balm or oil beforehand, but give it about 20 minutes to absorb well. Dry lips = better adhesion.
- Remove gently: In the morning, slowly remove the patch by holding the side – especially if you have sensitive skin.
- For men with facial hair: If you have a beard or mustache, simply press the patch more firmly so that it adheres well and you are comfortable. Our patches have also been tested on men with facial hair – they work great if applied correctly.
Avoid these mistakes at the start
- You skip skin preparation: Oils or moist skin can reduce patch adhesion – apply skincare products beforehand and allow them to absorb (approx. 20 min).
- You press too hard: Too much pressure can irritate the skin and make it difficult to remove the patch in the morning – press lightly, just enough for it to adhere well.
- You rip it off forcefully: Quick removal can irritate sensitive skin – do it slowly and gently.
- You have facial hair: Our patches have also been tested on men with beards – they work great if you fit them properly. Make sure the patch adheres to the skin, not the hair.
